Bio
Jessica Perkins was born and raised in Pennsylvania and is now excited to start another adventure living in New Jersey. She attended Tulpehocken High School in Bernville, PA where she played soccer, ran track, and got a head start attending college part time her senior year. She then attended Pennsylvania State University where she majored in Biobehavioral Health and continued to participate in athletic activities such as soccer on an intramural level and going for long distance runs. After graduating, Jess took a gap year to gain clinical experience working in a level 1 trauma ER before starting graduate school.
Jessica received her Master of Medical Science from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston, MA. She gained a diverse clinical experience throughout her rotations at many different locations in Boston and New Hampshire. Jess found great joy during her pediatric rotation, reassuring her interest in working in pediatrics. Her interest in orthopedics sparked during her surgery rotation where she was able to participate daily in orthopedic surgeries. Jess is a board-certified Physician Assistant who looks forward to applying her clinical knowledge and compassion to provide the best patient-centered care possible.
When Jessica is not working, she is spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She loves trying new restaurants, finding good coffee shops, and traveling.
