Bio
Jill McGovern is another Bergen County local, growing up in Oradell, NJ and attending River Dell High School, where she played 4-years of varsity soccer and basketball. She then attended Bucknell University, where she majored in biology as well as engaged in research, and continued to participate in the sports she loves at the club and intramural level. After graduating with honors, Jill cultivated 2 years of clinical experience specific to orthopedics before starting graduate school.
Jill received her Master of Medical Science from Tufts University School of Medicine. She built her clinical experience throughout her rotations at many of Boston’s renown hospitals, including performing her orthopedic training at Boston Children’s Hospital. This experience piqued and solidified her interest in caring for pediatric patients with orthopedic and sports-related conditions/injuries. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant and looks forward to utilizing her clinical knowledge, compassion, and sports background to provide excellent patient-centered care.
When Jill is not in the office treating patients, she is spending time with her family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants, working out, or watching TV shows.
